Copper Hood Installation & Maintenance

Installing a copper hood may seem daunting if you aren’t very handy. Contact an HVAC technician or an electrician for help with installation. You can also call 866-672-3401 for any additional help or information.

If you think you can tackle the installation on your own, read our step-by-step technical guide.

Step-by-step Install Process

Simple & Easy Hood Maintenance

Every hood comes with a protective coating to preserve the copper finish you select. For normal dust and grease maintenance, a wet sponge with hot water and two or three drops of dish soap will do the trick.

Do not use abrasive brushes or harsh chemical cleaners.

If you would like to polish the hood, use a soft cloth and cover the hood with a thin layer of copper polish. Once the polish dries, rub the hood using small, circular motions until the copper is shiny and no polish residue remains.

Copper Care Instructions:

  • We recommend that you clean your sink or copper range hood with mild soap and warm water.
  • Do not use abrasive brushes or harsh cleaners.
  • Your hood or sink come with a protective coating to preserve the finish you select.
  • For sinks, thoroughly rinse after each use.
