HOOD & SINK CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Copper is a beautiful metal that adds warmth and character to your kitchen. It requires some specific care to maintain its luster. Let's break down the care instructions.
Regular Cleaning:
Microfiber type cloth with warm water.
Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, and steel wool. Nothing acidic.
Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
Grease & Grime: For tougher grime, a mild detergent like dawn dish soap can be added to the damp microfiber cloth.
Patina: Copper and Brass hoods have a protective clear coating to prevent any further patina from developing. Follow the cleaning recommendations above.
Daily Cleaning:
Wash with warm water and mild dish soap after each use.
Dry thoroughly to prevent water spots and mineral buildup.
Avoiding Damage:
Use a rubber mat or cutting board to protect the sink surface from scratches.
Avoid placing hot pots or pans directly on the copper.
Patina:
Copper sinks develop a patina over time. This is a natural process which enhances the sink's beauty.
If you prefer a brighter finish, you can use a copper cleaner to restore the shine.
Applying Renaissance wax regularly can help slow the patina process and protect your sink basin.
By following these care tips, you will enjoy the beauty of your CopperHoods range hood and sink for years to come.

Additional Tips
